Sitting On The Doorstep
Thinking about the portion of childhood that is mostly unremembered. I’ve been noticing how we mostly extol children in terms of how they are moving toward adult behavior and thinking. I wonder why we are less enthused when they are fully as children? Completely in the quality of that which we don’t remember of ourselves. The doorstep is dusty from the wind.

Sitting On The Doorstep
Thinking about the week. Yesterday was a rainy day that didn’t have any rain in it. Tuesday was St. Patrick’s, all about Ireland, which only makes sense because Patrick was English. Monday my taxes were due because they can’t be due on a Sunday. Is there a message to be found in these slight oddities? Maybe there ought to be a message.
